Enrollment certificates for Personal Accident Insurance for Students Pursuing Education and Research (Gakkensai) and Personal Liability Insurance for Students Pursuing Education and Research (Futaibaiseki) can be obtained from the on-campus automatic certificate-issuing machines (by selecting the "All Certificates" option on the screen).
Please note, however, that this service is not available to non-regular students and that new subscribers may not be able to use it until after their first month of enrollment. Those unable to use the machines can apply to receive their certificates from the Welfare Division of the Education Promotion and Student Support Department.
It is recommended that those expecting to take part in a nursing or teaching practicum or an internship program obtain their certificates early because they may be required to submit one to the host institution.
Separately, those intending to participate in an internship program that is recognized by (but does not accept applications through) the University must submit an Internship Participation Application Form (インターンシップ参加届) in advance to the Student Support Section of the Student Affairs Division of the Education Promotion and Student Support Department (or to the academic affairs office of their department, depending on the type of internship involved). Otherwise, their activities at the host institution will not be covered by Gakkensai or Futaibaiseki, regardless of their insurance status.
