Graduate School Entrance Ceremony

Miyako Messe (Kyoto International Exhibition Hall)

• Students and Family members : Exhibition Hall 3, located on the 3rd floor
• Family members : Exhibition Hall 2, located on the 1st floor

Family members and other guests are required to have an admission pass for entry into either Exhibition Hall 3 or 2.

• Those who entered/proceeded to a master's, doctoral, or professional degree program on 1 April 2024

• Attendees will be asked to present their student ID cards when entering the venue.
• Videos and images from the event may later be published on Kyoto University's websites, pamphlets, and other media. The University appreciates your understanding.
• Formal attire is not required, but attendees are asked to dress appropriately for the occasion.

• Attendance by family members and other guests is limited to one person per student and requires an admission pass. The admission pass is enclosed with the Admission Information, which is sent out by each graduate school to those who have completed the admission procedure. Please bring the pass to the venue on the day of the event.

• Please refrain from bringing any additional guests to the venue building, which does not have a waiting area.
• The ceremony can be watched via live-streaming in Exhibition Hall 2. Please be aware, however, that seating is limited and the entrance will be closed as soon as capacity is reached. To avoid crowding, family members and other guests are asked to consider watching the ceremony via the link above instead of from the hall.
• Those who have a fever, respiratory symptoms, or otherwise feel unwell on the day of the ceremony are requested to refrain from attending.
