On 7 April, Kyoto University held the FY2021 Graduate School Entrance Ceremony at the Kyoto International Exhibition Hall, Miyako Messe, with Executive Vice-Presidents, Deans, and Directors, as well as former Presidents Hiroshi Matsumoto and Juichi Yamagiwa, in attendance.
The matriculating class consisted of 2,274 master's students, 333 professional degree students, and 905 doctoral students.
