This year's Undergraduate Entrance Ceremony took place 5 April at Miyako Messe (Kyoto International Exhibition Hall) in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto. The ceremony included the singing of the university song, followed by a Presidential address.
The matriculating class of 2019 numbered 2,948.
