Undergraduate degree programs

In other languages

Kyoto University has 10 faculties, each offering undergraduate degrees.

First-year students take university-wide liberal arts and science courses that cover common subjects, some of which are taught in English. At the same time or after completing these courses, they begin studying subjects in their chosen fields.

Students are required to have adequate proficiency in Japanese, as most classes are taught in Japanese.

However, there are two programs designed for international students that do not require Japanese language proficiency at the time of admission. These are the Undergraduate International Course Program of Civil Engineering and Kyoto iUP.
