The Information Center near the Main Gate of Yoshida Campus has been renovated and reopened to the public.
The renovated facility has a larger floor space and a simpler look, with wider glass walls that expose more of the interior and are designed to produce a more inviting feel. The interior itself has been fully refurbished to now include a display panel and a touch screen with introductory information about Kyoto University. These features were introduced in response to visitor requests for more ways to learn about the institution. Also installed are digital signage systems displaying upcoming events and other news, making the facility a one-stop information center for all visitors. All are welcome to stop by and explore these new features.
The Information Center is open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. No smoking, drinking, or eating is allowed inside the facility.
