The first session of "Human and Religion" (twelfth lecture series of "Learning Kyoto University's Knowledge in Tokyo") was held at the university's Tokyo Office.
In the first session of the twelfth series, focusing on the theme of "Human and Religion," Professor Masako Keta from the Graduate School of Letters gave a lecture titled "What Is the 'Religious Demand' in Kitaro Nishida's An Inquiry into the Good?"
The audience looked serious as they listened attentively to her lecture, in which she interpreted the phrase "religious demand" in An Inquiry into the Good and reflected on "religion" in Nishida's philosophy. After the lecture, a lively exchange of questions and answers took place.
