To all students and persons responsible for the payment of tuition fees,
As announced on the Kyoto University website on 11 May, the deadline for the payment of tuition fees for the first semester of 2020 will be extended until late August due the current situation regarding the novel coronavirus. See below for details.
1. Deadline for the payment of tuition fees for the first semester of 2020

(Extended from the original deadline: 31 May 2020)
2. Payment Method
The payment will be collected by direct debit on 20 August 2020. Please, therefore, ensure that sufficient funds are in your account prior to that date.
(Note: If you need to arrange a new direct debit for the payment of the tuition fees you must first apply via the Kyoto University website by 26 July 2020 [Sunday])
If you do not intend to pay by direct debit, please use the cash transfer form sent by the University in early August, and be sure to make the payment before the deadline.
Please note that a different cash transfer form will be sent to persons who will complete their programs or withdraw from the University during the first semester. In this case, the payment deadline shall be different from the deadline above. Please be sure to confirm the deadline printed on the cash transfer form.
