The 2017-2018 Degree Conferment Ceremony was held 26 March at Miyako Messe (Kyoto International Exhibition Hall) with executive vice-presidents, deans, and other faculty and staff in attendance.
A total of 2,207 students received master's degrees, 151 professional master's degrees, 129 juris doctor degrees, and 555 doctoral degrees (497 by coursework and 58 by thesis, awarded on 24 November 2017, 23 January 2018, and 26 March 2018).
The class of 2017 also included 18 who completed Programs for Leading Graduate Schools, inaugurated in 2012.
In the ceremony, President Juichi Yamagiwa administered the degree certificates and delivered a congratulatory address.
