Student Lounge 'KIZUNA' event for March: Kimono Dressing Class

The 'KIZUNA' event for March is a Kimono Dressing Class, to be held in conjunction with the COCOLOIKI project, which is operated by the Education and Research Unit for Regional Alliances, Center for the Promotion of Interdisciplinary Education and Research (C-PIER).
Instruction will be provided by members of Kyoto Kimono Kikaku, a KU student organization active in planning and organizing kimono-related events across Kyoto. In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will be taught all the necessary steps for wearing kimono, including using different accessories. Rental kimonos of various colors will be available for the lesson, so no special attire is required.
It will be a great opportunity to experience Japanese clothing tradition and make new friends.
