Delegates from Jazan University's College of Computer Sciences and Information Systems--a professor with thirteen students-- visited the Graduate School of Informatics. This is the second visit from the university following the one in 2012.
Founded in 2006 in the city of Jazan, Jazan University is a young university situated in the southwestern part of Saudi Arabia.
Dean Toru Sato and Professor Toshiyuki Tanaka (vice-dean of the school) began by giving the delegates an overview of the Graduate School of Informatics. Then Professor Yoshito Ohta and Professor Toshiyuki Tanaka briefed the guests on the school's research activities.
Later, the guests were shown a systems engineering experiment, after which Senior Lecturer Jun Ohkubo and Assistant Professor Kentaro Ohki briefed the guests on their research. The students eagerly listened to the briefing about the research and asked questions, showing a great level of interest.
In addition, with great enthusiasm, they toured around the campus for about two hours.
