CiRA Director Professor Shinya Yamanaka Presented with a Bouquet (October 9, 2012)
In front of the university head office building, a bouquet of flowers was presented to Professor Shinya Yamanaka, director of the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA) and principal investigator at the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (WPI-iCeMS), to congratulate him on winning the 2012 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine.
A CiRA staff member handed him the bouquet amid celebrations with the university staff and friends.
