Kyoto University's fifth annual International Symposium for the Establishment of Sustainable Campuses will be held this December. The event will host presentations by numerous domestic and international experts, including a keynote lecture from Mr Iain Patton, chief executive of the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC), a leading sustainable campus network for more than 20 years.
The symposium will be held in association with the 3rd Asian Conference on Campus Sustainability (ACCS), a meeting of Asian universities active in promoting sustainability. The two-day event will feature talks by representatives from Chinese, Korean, and Thai universities on their campus achievements and activities.
