The February 'KIZUNA' event is "Introduction to Japanese Traditional Dance", held in conjunction with the COCOLOIKI project, which is operated by the Education and Research Unit for Regional Alliances, Center for the Promotion of Interdisciplinary Education and Research (C-PIER).
The workshop will be taught by a Japanese traditional dance teacher from Murasaki no Kai, which is active at the Kyoto Prefectural International Center.
At the workshop, you will dance to music using a sensu (folding fan), Japanese umbrella, or tenugui (Japanese ornamental hand towel).
No special attire is required, so please feel free to join us.
It will also be a great opportunity to broaden your knowledge about Japan's tradition.
We are looking forward to your participation.
