On 10 December, the Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability (GSAIS/Shishu-kan) hosted its seventh international symposium, entitled "Let's Work Together Toward Achieving Sustainable Development Goals", at the International Science Innovation Building.
Five students served as organizers, playing key roles in planning and running the conference, while numerous others participated in the event's presentation and poster sessions.
GSAIS Dean Kaoru Takara delivered opening remarks, with first-year GSAIS student Fedor Myasoedov serving as the master of ceremonies.
The program featured three sessions — "Trade-off and Synergy", "Society and Education", and "Energy and Economy" — as well as poster presentations and group discussions. The group discussions addressed the three session topics, each led by a student facilitator. Afterwards, each group presented its conclusion, which was summarized by Charles M Boliko, fourth-year GSAIS student.
Finally, Professor Dimiter-savov Ialnazov delivered closing remarks, and praised the five student organizers, wrapping up the event on a high note.
