As part of their ongoing cooperation in education and research, two of the six HeKKSaGOn partners, Kyoto and Heidelberg University, have established a new joint-degree master's program in Transcultural Studies, further deepening their collaboration.
The first cohort of students will enroll in April 2018.
In conjunction with the launch of this new major, the Kyoto University Graduate School of Letters is offering a spring school program next year to master's and doctoral candidates, primarily from the HeKKSaGOn-member institutions.
The spring program will provide participants with the opportunity to engage the perspective of transculturality, through the experience of studying with the experts who have helped establish this new field of inquiry.
