On 21 September, Thomson Reuters announced that Visiting Professor Tasuku Honjo is among the 24 recipients of its 2016 Citation Laureates.
Thomson Reuters Citation Laureates are researchers who are considered, on the basis of their citation records, likely to receive the Nobel Prize for their outstanding achievements.
Professor Honjo is one of the three Japanese scientists to be included in this year's list.
