On 1 June 2016, Prof Kazutoshi Mori of the Graduate School of Science was awarded a certificate as a Thomson Reuters Citation Laureate.
Thomson Reuters announced in September 2015 that Prof Mori is among the 18 recipients of its 2015 Thomson Reuters Citation Laureates.
Laureates typically rank among the top one-tenth of one percent (0.1%) of researchers in their fields, based on citations of their published papers over the last two decades.
In the past, Prof Susumu Kitagawa of the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences and Prof Shinya Yamanaka of Center for iPS Cell Research and Application have also received the award.
