Kyoto University accepts donations through its Kyoto University Foundation, primarily for the purpose of enhancing its education, research, and public service activities. Besides supporting either the university as a whole or students in general, donors can choose to contribute funds to specific departments or programs.
The KU Foundation has recently established a fund dedicated to supporting research and education at the Graduate School and Faculty of Science.
Donations directed to this fund will be utilized for assistance to and training of early-career researchers and students, and for publicizing research activities carried out by the Graduate School and Faculty, thereby contributing to excellence in leading-edge research.
